A List Of Hikes
There are SO many hikes to be done across Europe. The Alps alone, stretching across four countries, could keep you busy for months. If you look up all the different mountain ranges or regions in Europe, the list is long. There are mountains everywhere, and I cannot wait for a taste.
There are the obvious hikes like the Tour Du Mt.Blanc, a multi-day hike circumnavigating the highest peak in the Alps. Or the notorious hikes like the GR20 in Corsica. Both of which I would like to do this spring and summer. Then there are some less accessible hikes like The Arctic Circle Trail in Greenland. My first thought upon reading about this one was, how does one get to Greenland exactly. A simple search revealed flights from Copenhagen…the cogwheels of my mind go wild.
Then there are the hikes that your friends, also amateur wanna-be alpinist, have in mind. The Jungfrau, the Eiger and a third peak I can’t remember, but I want to do them all, too.
I have a lot of lists going at the moment, but most of them look like the one above. A “To Do” of sorts documenting hikes, their distances and approximate length in days.
As soon as this winter thaws, my travels will revolve around these lists.
