Sadly this week the climbing gym closed to align with “shelter in place” that went into effect in the Bay Area & then Santa Cruz this week.
My roommate Natalie and I had been hitting the gym at 7am most weekday mornings. We climbed for an hour or two and then inevitably picked up some delicious Verve Coffee which is conveniently next door to the gym. We were in the third week of this routine and I was seeing significant improvement in my climbing, which was awesome, and is hard to let go of now that the gym is closed. But, I understand its an insignificant price to pay to keep our community safe during this virus.
